A Brief History
After the proprietor graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Architecture from the University of Nueva Caceres in 2013 and passed the Architecture Licensure Examination (ALE) in 2015, she started her own architectural firm registering it with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) using the business name, JLObias Architecture Designs in 2017 with its brand name, Obias Architecture and Design (simply, Obias ArchDesign --- OAD). Its office is located in Naga City, Camarines Sur, the Philippines.

The proprietor is eyeing a Master’s degree in the Architectural field for further knowledge on building design principles and construction techniques.

The firm, Obias ArchDesign, specializes in the design of different types of buildings and architectural interiors considering the culture/identity of its users to achieve proper user experience:

from having simple and minimalist patterns, to exploring complex and innovative designs that are distinctive;

from adhering to basic ideas, to achieving diverse concepts;

from procuring needed materials for a project, to managing the workers as a team;

from ensuring that the project meets all the necessary resources with the expected quality of work, to achieving all project goals within the given constraints.

OAD exercises flexibility in the advancement of design and technology by using Building Information Modelling (BIM).

​OAD focuses on improving comprehensive designs to have an impact not only to different communities but also to the environment.
OAD is grateful for having ongoing projects which comprise the closure of contract deals with clients, the development of ideas to achieve the vision of the owners and the supervision in the constructions following the approved plans and designs.
